The case against Julian Assange (Extra Post)

Red Herring or Unconventional hero? Julian Assange got presumably a plentiful of confidential cables and sensitive information on his power that had damaged diplomatic relationships, but also revealed dubious actions of the Government.

He is also being required by the Swedish justice by cases of rape (legal definition of rape may differ from country to country). Assange accuses the British, Swedish and American government of a conspiracy to have him captured and interrogated. Conspiracy Theory perhaps? Real concern?

Why only secrets of the Unites States government and other Western countries had been released? Why Russian secrets have not been released by Wikileaks?

Is there a political agenda behind Assange actions, or are his intentions noble, in which there is no intention to harm the U. S.?

Does Assange and Snowden pursuit the same ideals? (Assange is an Australian Citizen, Snowden is American)
