Ethics writing assignment, due Feb. 22 at 9pm

I would embrace that it is morally acceptable to disobey the Patriot Act, and most specifically Section 215 as it applies to unlawful technical eavesdropping in contravention of the Fourth Amendment.

Section 215 has been used as a offensive means to penetrate the private lives of all U.S. Citizens with a blanket warrant or blanket warrants, from which no U.S. Citizen is free of illegal government search and seizure. It is with the disclosures of classified documents by Edward Snowden that the magnitude of these breaches of the Bill of Rights was enacted, behind closed doors through a select group of power grabbing politicians, with no political oversight by the public, and this them being answerable to no court, and no civil court.
