Situation : The CCTV camera of Washington D.C has been attacked with ransomware. It made several CCTV shutdown for three days.
Claim : hackers were not trying to deal with D.C government. The hacker just want to shutdown most of CCTV in D.C. for some reason. 128 of 157 CCTV camera shutdown for three day and police officers trying to shuttered the area where attacked CCTV used to record. It make lots of loss because Washington D.C is not backup their systems and data often. Washington D.C government has also responsibility of this crime.
Argument : This case is totally wrong moral case, because the hackers intended that they did this crime to try their ability of hacking. If they want to check their ability, they have to test with legal ways.
Principle : Government has also responsibility of this case, but in the view of ethical hacking, these hackers were using wrong way
