Ethics Blog Assignment Response 1/31/2017

Situation: Edward Snowden after weeks of thoughts decided to blow the whistle of the U.S government spying on its own citizens.

Claim: in 2013, a guy named Edward Snowden was at the center of front pages in many new outlets, he believed that the government was acting the public will and in secret and therefore had to make it public and goes against the U.S constitution, his moral righteousness dictated for him that the U.S government should never have acted against innocent citizens nor should they have had access to our phone conversations nor our social media sites that we visit daily, I believe that Edward Snowden was wrong overall.

Argument: NSA, National Security Agency has considered as betrayed and espionage against the country, although I stand with the fact that Edward Snowden should not have made this public because he rendered the situation of fighting against terrorism and terrorists even more harder for the government, his mora righteousness worked perfectly for individuals and citizens like us because we now know that the U.S government spies on un and most likely listens to our daily phone conversations, however, terrorist organizations are the most beneficial , in this case simply because  they will be more careful than ever in organizing their terrorist events, hypothetically Edward Snowden revealed the plumbing and the way water is being distributed to the people and that is very dangerous, instead he could have sim.ply said the U.S government spies on us, he actually went further more and revealed the identity of the person who did this, also if the only intent the governemnt had was to actually ensuring that terrorists should be stopped at the expense of innocent people and have access to our communication means, i concur with them that they can have access to our privacy in this specific scenario.

Principle: Snowden's moral righteousness led to a fantastic secret.
