My task was fairly simple and straightforward, i was to get Doctor Red to let me take of picture of him. The way i went about the task was in short i asked him? the fact that i knew Doctor Red personally helped of course but the task was accomplished fairly quickly by the end of class.
Now assuming i didn't know Doctor Red the interaction would not have gone much different. Smiling, Being polite and asking for a favor are good ways to disarm people who you may not know and getting them to let you take something as harmless as a picture. Even if they dont let you take a picture, its not illegal to takes pictures in public areas so they may be pictured whether they have knowledge of it or not. There are no ethics dilemmas involved with this.
