Ethical_Hacking_Lab_11-updated issue

Hello all,

I am having some issue with Lab 11 at 2.16

2.  Sending the Spear Phish Email to the Victim

2.16.  As per the pdf, after clicking the link I should be getting the web page below (XYZ Company Login)  ...

Instead I am getting the page below with notification blocked and I am not able to move forward here on.

Where did I go wrong? any suggestion?
Thank you in advance.

  1. I think I received the same screen but I was able to move on. I ran into a problem on Part 3 step 5. I have a separate post on that.

  2. That's the whole point!

All you need is to get their user/password info.

No need to create an confirmation page. Most people will ignore it and think it's something wrong with their computer or browser.

    1. Thanks for comment but I can't get that login page and can't move forward without that page. I'm not looking to create that confirmation page. Unlike in the given pdf, all of my browser shows (as you can see in my snip) http://216.6.1.100 is blocked. I can't find a way to get their user/password without attempting this page.

  3. King Blue, if you post your lab username and your password to this string, I will remotely log in and see if I can resolve the problem you are experiencing. If you prefer, you can also write the login data down on a piece of paper and pass it to me in class, and I will get the matter brought to some point of resolution for you.

I mean, hey, we gotta work together to do well in this course, so I am more than happy to help.

I did successfully complete the Lab, but there is a trick to getting it to function, and you have to very carefully walk through it, of you might miss the hint the lab has in it.

Go ahead and post your password, so we can get this squared away before class.
