**Nature hath made men so equeal, in the faculties of body and mind, as that though there be found one man sometimes manifestly stronger in body, or of quicker mind than another; yet when all is reckoned together, the difference between man and man is no so considerable, as taht one man cna therupon claim to himself any benefit, to which another may no pretend as well as he. for as to the strength of body, the weakest has strength enough to kill the strongest, either by secret machination or by confederacy with other that are in the same danger with himself.
What Thomas Hobbes says on this excerpt from the Leviathan is totally true. he has this idea to which i agree. The idea that Nature itself has made all men equal in every aspect. Now days, we have a lot of people who think they better than another person, the stronger think is better than the weak, the coll kid (bully) thinks hes better than the "nerd". as Hobbes says one man can be stronger in body, but slow in speed, or quicker of mind, but no wise. when you put those 2 men together, the difference isnt so considerable because we are all equal. I agree what Hobbes says, we are all equal it doesnt matter if you are phisically or mentally stronger than other, it doesn't matter if you are richer or poorer than another, doesnt matter if who is more educated than the other, for as when the end comes the difference won't be so notable.
"The Weakest has strength enough to kill the stronger" those people who think that we, men, are not equal and believe to be better than us; don't realize that the weaknes the see on us, we transform them into strength. we are all equal, and is on our state of nature to have the same benefit as the other. Also in our state of nature is to protect ourselves from this menaces that endanger our being. If more than one man, is in the same danger, they can act together and kill or eliminate the threat. there it wouldnt mattere if one man is better than another, it wouldnt matter if a man is different to the other. All men are equal according to nature, and all men have the same amount, and oportunity of survive.
