Facebook's Proposed Privacy Plan

Facebook decided to let third party developers access users personal data like address and phone numbers. Is this decision represent a breach of privacy for the users of facebook, should Facebook protect their users by implementing a better policy, instead of sharing their personal data?

Facebook’s proposed privacy plan definitely represent a breach to the privacy of the users, I think that first and last name, phone number and address are enough for a identity theft to apply for a loan or credit under the name of the victim. for this reasons and more Facebook needs to change its policies regarding the privacy of their users in order to protect them.

There is any reason why every person is not suppose to give away his/hers personal informations one of them is identity theft, and that is what Facebook needs to be aware of when proposing new privacy plans, but also because sharing the user personal data can endanger the privacy and safety of children. Children will be allowed to share their informations like all the other user which can make them extremely vulnerable for predators on the internet.

Technology in the last few years made it easier to keep in touch with family and friends around the world, and its helping humans to stay informed and aware of many things. But when it comes to safety of users adult and more importantly children,  I think they should be limits that Facebook or any other company must respect, so that we all can enjoy technology safely.
