When I open the External Backtrack 5 Linux System, it looks like the picture I'm attaching to this, not like the picture in the lab "book" ... can anyone help?
Good news! I totally figured it out! I think I know what I'm doing now... Bad news... When I figured it out I only had about two minutes to get some stuff done.

ReplyDeletejust type the startx comand and that should throw you to the UI. and you should see the picture as in the lab
ReplyDeleteThe startx does not always work but u can use the CLI to run the same commands for the first lab at least
