I was a tad pissed that I found out about these great sources of information AFTER the fact.
I'm a bit embarrassed to say that I simply kept the TV tuned to local news. It really is crazy though that old school tech like a scanner was one of the best sources of info!
I was able to make use of this resource (much thanks to Mr. Orchid), but only for the last parts of the incident. (which also happened to be the most critical parts.) Almost all other news coverages were insufficient, inappropriate, inaccurate, biased or improperly filtered. Thanks Orchid!
